(send to Singapore legal to have a review first if need) · According to Project and Commodity strategy to seek suitable supplier, organize the supplier visit together with relative Department. To make the pre-evaluation. Make sure the signed standard purchasing contract, NDA, QAA according to rules and update in the global supplier database · Manage all aspects of tooling development and construction, including planning and feasibility, cost estimating, tool fabrication and tool and part validation. Oversee and protect FCIs technical and financial stake in tooling development at supplier sites and serve as point-of-contact between tooling vendors and FCI product design teams. Draw on strong leadership and mechanical engineering skills to develop innovative tooling solutions and quickly troubleshoot and correct day-to-day operational problems. Ensure all critical product design issues are identified and resolved. Stay abreast of the latest technology and processes to help develop designs that are innovative, competitive and cost effective. · Support commodity manager to manager vendor performance and QBR · Work with vendors and plants to evaluate and approve FOT · Quick feedback on NBR KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Main Duties & Responsibilities KPI Purchasing cost control PAP Reduce vendor No Active vendor qty NBR review and actions follow and close Follow and close all 8D and actions on time Cash flow Vendor payment term follow global rule 100% or better Project schedule management OTD of project Cost of vendor develop Cost VS budget LT of quote Actual Vs target MAIN FINANCIAL AND MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Turnover, P&L, Productivity of industrial & manufacturing equipment, manpower under his/her responsibility) PAP yearly target set up and follow , complete EDUCATION (Qualifications obtained in the course of formal education and/or training) University, molds industry is priority EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: · Journeyman Mold Maker, Mold Designer or equivalent with at least 5-year experience in the injection mold making industry · Project management skills including scheduling and resource allocation forecasting · Through understanding of every aspect of a tooling shop and the mold and die manufacturing process (including Challenging cooling and extraction processes, double shot processes etc.) · Familiarity with metal stamping, casting, forming and finishing processes experience is desirable · Detailed understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles and methodology · Good leadership and reporting skills; ability to communicate well at all levels within FCI global plants and its supply base community COMPULSORY SKILLS REQUIRED: · Office software and industry drawing · 3D drawing · CAD/CAXA/Pro/E/UG/SolidWorkS ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED: · Ability to communicate well in spoken and written English.
