JD 1. Synopsys Product Validation Engineer - IC Compiler
Product Development Focus
Responsible for validating the industry leading SOC implementation solution - IC Compiler:
· Analyze specifications and requirements and identify potential problems early in the product life cycle.
· Develop and execute test plans which validate the product specifications and requirements, analyze and document the test results and co-operate with R&D Team to track down and resolve the issues.
· Define and create test structures and test designs for performance, accuracy and functional tests.
· Verify if product Defects and Enhancements have been fixed by R&D Team as desired and then check the test cases into product Quality Assurance Regression repository.
· Design and develop test programs in Perl, TCL and C/C++, including test tools and automated test suites

· Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Must have good verbal and written communication skills for both Chinese and English
· Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following CS fields is a strong plus:
o Programming language (C/C++, Shell, TCL, Perl, Python etc.)
o Unix/Linux operating system
· Knowledge and experience in IC design (Verilog/VHDL, Synthesis, Place & Route etc.) and software testing is a strong plus
JD 2. Synopsys RnD Engineer
Product Development Focus
This candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting software programs. He or she will need to work with local team as well as global teams to achieve project goals.
Job Requirement for Fresh Grads:
- BS in CS/EE;
- Knowledge of C/C++ programming;
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms;
- Knowledge of HDL is desirable
- Team work ethic, can-do attitude, good learning ability.
JD 3. Synopsys RD Engineer
Product Development Focus
He/She will be responsible for troubleshooting, designing and developing software programs associated with HSPICE Parser and Output on Unix/Linux/Windows platforms. HSPICE？ is the industry's "gold standard" for accurate circuit simulation.
He/she will be involved in all phases of software development, including project planning, problem identification, design specifications, implementation and testing.
Job Requirement for Fresh Grads:
Major in EE or Computer Science
Proficient in C/C++ programming
Familiar with UNIX and Linux
Good analysis and problem solving skills
Good communication skills
Good written and verbal English skills
JD 4. Synopsys Product Validation Engineer (HSPICE)
Product Development Focus
HSPICE is golden standard circuit simulator with more than 30 years in EDA.
This position is mainly focusing on software product testing and validation; issues tracking and resolving through team cooperation; scripts developing and automation; release testing installation packages.
Job Requirement for Fresh Grads:
Major in electronics or related field.
Good knowledge on MOS semiconductor device, analog or digital circuit design
Experiment experience on SPICE or PSPICE circuit simulation
Experiment experience on C or C++ developing
Be aware of one of the scripting languages like Shell/Perl/Python
Be familiar with basic Unix/Linux operation
JD 5. Synopsys Product Validation, Custom Design (AMSG)
Product Development Focus
This is an individual contributor position reporting to the AMSG Custom Design QA manager. This candidate will provide a QA individual contributor role in all the testing activities of the Layout manual and automatic Editing EDA tools. This includes defining the test strategy; project planning & the creation, execution and automation of test cases. The candidate will also be expected to play an active role in the maintenance and analysis of the suite of QA regression test environment. The candidate should be able to communicate clearly to work with peers from QA, RD, Application support and Marketing groups. The candidate is responsible for establishing personal timetables that supports the assigned project goals.
Job Requirement for Fresh Grads:
Major in Electronics, Communication Engineering or comparable degree
Good verbal and written communication skills are desired
Good problem analysis skills.
Know about unix/linux /perl is a plus
A good knowledge of popular layout editing tool usage is considered a strong plus.
