Job Title: Pulp Sales Representative
Location: Shanghai(上海市徐家汇港汇中心）
UPM's Pulp business area consists of three modern and eco-efficient pulp mills in Finland and a state-of-the-art pulp mill and plantation operations in Uruguay as well as the business development and supply operations. The products range from northern softwood pulp and northern hardwood pulp to eucalyptus pulp made from fast growing plantation wood with a total capacity of 3.2 million tons of high quality pulp. UPM has an outspoken ambition to grow its presence in the pulp market, and be a reliable long-term partner for our customers with relationships based on mutual trust.
Main tasks:
1. Sales and marketing of UPM's entire pulp product range.
2. Initiate and carry out activities to strengthen our position in the market
3. Perform and follow up sales results regularly
4. Support the organisation with relevant market information
5. Keeping our customers pleased with the services and products provided: preventing problems from happening, solving problem when occurred.
Key contacts:
1. Customers: all levels in the organisation
2. Sales and supply pulp organization.
3. Key suppliers of services (transport, shipping etc)
Key requirements:
1. Strong personal drive and commitment to achieving results
2. Commitment to spend extensive time traveling
3. Related knowledge of the pulp and paper market
4. 2 years' experience from international sales and marketing.
5. Proven ability to plan and execute sales
6. Fluent Mandarin
7. Fluent in both spoken and written English
8. Strong communication skills
9. Experience in interacting at different levels of customers organizations.
10. Customer and service focused way of operating
11. Good interaction and team skills
